NEW YORK (1^st June, 2024) From May 19th to 22nd, 2024, the Department of Commerce of Zhejiang Province successfully hosted the 2024 Zhejiang Service Trade (USA) Intellectual Property Exhibition at the Georgia World Congress Centre in Atlanta. This event marked a significant milestone as it was the first international professional event since the onset of the pandemic where Zhejiang's intellectual property service export base and agencies were showcased, aligning with international standards.

The exhibition focused on showcasing Zhejiang's leading companies in intellectual property services, with an emphasis on trademark and patent services, intellectual property management, copyright protection, and legal consultation. Concurrently, the 2024 China National Intellectual Property Service Export Base Symposium and the 3rd Digital Trade Expo Presentation were held, enhancing the international profile of Zhejiang's trade in intellectual property services.

The promotion conference welcomed esteemed international entities such as the International Trademark Association (INTA) and Hall-Erickson Inc., alongside international corporations. Zhuang Jin, Director of the Trade in Services Division at the Department of Commerce of Zhejiang Province, presented an overview of Zhejiang’s National Export Base of Intellectual Property Services and the third Global Digital Trade Expo, highlighting the progress made in meeting international benchmarks in the intellectual property services industry. The event also served as a timely promotion for the Global Digital Trade Expo, inviting global participation.

For example, Hangzhou Guozhi Intellectual Property Agency presented "Fusion of Global Wisdom, Safeguarding Innovation in China" for legal services, while Vobile Group Limited introduced its innovative approach to IP services with a presentation titled "Enhancing the Value of Creativity." Over the four-day exhibition, which included a networking conference, 10 featured presentations, and exhibition displays, the event attracted more than 1,000 international business visitors.

The 146th INTA Annual Meeting, a cornerstone event in the intellectual property industry, was also held concurrently, attracting over 10,000 attendees from more than 140 countries. This provided an exceptional platform for Zhejiang to showcase its robust intellectual property services and prestigious national intellectual property service export base to a global audience. By highlighting its capabilities, Zhejiang has made a significant stride towards establishing itself as a key player in the global intellectual property and trade in services landscape, elevating its international profile and boosting its influence.
